Updated 1/15/2021 10:58 PM SPRINGFIELD -- On Wednesday, Jan. 13, Chris Bos (R-Lake Zurich) took the oath of office to become State Representative for the 51st District in the Illinois House of Representatives for the 102nd General Assembly. Bos was elected to the House in the 2020 general election. "First and foremost, I want to thank the residents of the 51st District for placing your trust in me to represent our communities in the General Assembly," said Bos. "Our state is facing many challenges but as I have said from the beginning, I firmly believe we can rise to the occasion by working together and ensuring the voices of local communities are heard. There is more that unites us than divides us, and this mentality is what will help us change the status quo, tackle corruption and halt the crushing tax burden that has already driven too many families out of our state.
