Chris Christie’s new Washington lobbying firm brought in $1.3 million during its first year in business, according to year-end filings. Christie’s firm, Christie 55 Solutions LLC, reported nine clients, most of them in the health field and several on coronavirus issues, according to Senate filings and the Center for Responsive Politics. His lobbying business continued to expand. His eighth client, Novo Nordisk, an international pharmaceutical company whose U.S. headquaters are in Plainsboro, came on board in October. The company paid the Christie firm $120,000 over the last three months of the year to lobby on Medicare prescription drug coverage.
