Church looking for those in need of food View Comments ZANESVILLE - There has been a decline in customers to the fresh produce giveaway at First Baptist Church in South Zanesville, and organizers urge those in need to take advantage. The next giveaway is Friday, May 28th, starting at 10 a.m. The June giveway will be held on the 25th. "We were very busy once the pandemic hit, but over the last couple of months we have noticed the numbers have really decreased," said Jaime Trout, executive director of Eastside Community Ministries, who partners with the church to run the produce giveaway. "We are assuming it is because of extra help people have been getting, through food stamps and stimulus."
