Cindy Frenkel's poetry collection, The Plague of the Tender-Hearted, was just released from Finishing Line Press. Her work has appeared in numerous publications from Vanity Fair to The New York Observer, where she was a columnist. For five years, she served as a writer-in-residence with InsideOut Literary Arts Project, which brings working poets into Detroit public schools.
