Clean-up work begins in Worcester and Malvern after windy weather

THE clean-up has begun after windy weather hit Worcestershire.
In Worcester, City Council workmen were out clearing away the debris left behind by this week's wind, tidying up fallen branches and twigs from Croft Road near Worcester Racecourse.
In Malvern, clean-up work was carried out in the grounds of Malvern Priory, with a large amount of fallen branches littering the churchyard. A small number of headstones were damaged, but no one was injured in the tree fall.
This weekend is likely to see brisk westerly winds across the county, but no rain thankfully.
According to the Met Office: "Morning showers for many, but dry spells in southern areas.
