A nonprofit at the heart of a $60-million statehouse corruption scandal has not answered Cleveland City Council subpoenas for documents dealing with the FirstEnergy’s suspected funding of an effort discredit Cleveland Public Power.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – A nonprofit at the heart of a $60-million statehouse corruption scandal has not answered Cleveland City Council subpoenas for documents dealing with the FirstEnergy’s suspected funding of an effort discredit Cleveland Public Power.
Attempts to reach Generation Now for comment were not immediately successful.
Kelley said the council will consult lawyers to determine what, if anything, happens next.
