Clydebank's Awestruck Academy reopens to public - with a brand new show

A Clydebank creative arts centre’s gallery has been reopened following the easing of the country’s Covid restrictions.
Awestruck Academy, based on Sylvania Way, reopened last week with a new show featuring paintings, models, photography and even decorated bird skulls - all by local artists.
Allan Rutherford, director of Awestruck Academy, told the Post: “It is amazing because all the artwork we have here are by artists from across West Dunbartonshire.
“Some of them sent their pieces by courier because they wanted to take part in the show.
“It is a great place to bring local artists together. Some of these people have never showed their work before and I like to give them a platform. By doing this show, they have moved on to raise money for charities.”
