Our breaking story tonight, israel is bombarding gaza with a massive aerial assault, as hamas is now threatening to execute Civilian Haas Tanls and broadcast it live if these strikes continue without warning, they say. President biden announced today that an unknown number of americans are missing tonight, and it is likely that they are among those hostages who have been taken into gaza. At least 11 americans are among the more than 900 People Killed so far in israel, and we should note we will hear from President Biden tomorrow on these attacks. Israel has pummelled at least 130 targets in gaza. Prime minister netanyahu says is a force, quote, like never before. He also warned that this is just the beginning. Theres also this remarkable aerial view of striking targets that israel says serves az hub for terrorists. The unthinkable horrors from the Surprise Attack on the country, elderly murdered, handcuffed children executed, young people who were shot in the back, entire families now gone tonight. Weve seen the horrific videos with our own eyes of civilians being dragged away, including at a Music Festival, where we are told at least 260 bodies have been discovered. Can you describe what it has been like since youve been on the ground and to see the aftermath of this . Yeah, i should just point gaza is as you said about 19 or so miles in that direction. And throughout the evening, even just as you were talking we have heard the distant rumble of very loud explosions, some likely from israeli aircraft, some from israeli artillery being fired into sites in gaza. You know, we are almost 72 hours now, once dawn here around 6 30 a. M. , it will be 72 hours since this Terror Attack along multiple fronts began. And its still a very chaotic situation. I just spoke to a spokesperson for the Israeli Defense forces who is saying there are still hamas militants attempting to breach the border, attempting to make suicide attacks, that there are still fire fights, activity from hamas gunmen on the ground in israel territory with Israeli Forces. He believes many of them were just, sort of, left behind either intentionally or werent able to get into gaza and are making a last stand, trying to kill as many people as they can. It is still a very kinetic situation, and it is not, you know, all along the border with gaza, just hearing more explosions off in the distance now. Theres a lot of unknowns. And theres you know, The Big Question of course is what happens next . Weve obviously seen large movements of troops, of supplies. Theyre trying to shore up much of the border, which was breached in multiple locations. But theres certainly a lot of work to be done just in terms of getting forces to the places that israeli authorities want them and then making the decision about how to proceed from here. And about how often are you hearing those booms in the background tonight . I mean, its, what . 4 00 in the morning where you are right now. Its pretty just while you were speaking, there was more. We cant pick it up. We dont have a mic pointing that direction. Its really constant. I mean, its so distant, it feels like if youve ever been in an apartment building, people are moving furniture above you, its this rumbling that you just get used to after time. You can hear it also in tel aviv. Its a slightly different sound. Its a little bit more intense here. It is this distant rumbling of the sound of artillery firing, the sound of impacts, and occasionally of fighter jets in the air. And of course when you hear that, anderson, you think of all the people and the Human Suffering that is the result of this. I know i was just watching you earlier, and you were talking to this mother whose two young daughters were kidnapped by hamas, which is obviously i mean, its not every parents nightmare, its every parents worse nightmare quadrupled some. Talking to yeah. I mean, her daughters have been kidnapped. She didnt get any word about it until a friend of hers sent her a video actually a still photo taken by hamas, posted by hamas On A Telegram on telegram, which is where a lot of israelis are learning that their loved ones are being held hostage. Its so chaotic that thats actually how they are being informed. This is a woman named and her two daughters are being held. We dont have that. But shes desperately hoping that they return. Shes gotten no word from anyone in the Israeli Government yet. She understands because it is still very chaotic. But shes desperate for some sort of word of whats happen. All shes seen are still photos posted by hamas and a 30minute Facebook Live stream that hamas did, in which her two daughters appear terrified and being spoken to by hamas members. I want to go now to nic robertson, who is also in ashed to, where hamas rockets have caused significant damage throughout this conflict so far. Nick, talk about what you have seen on the ground here today. Anderson, i think one of the big significant things that weve seen thats been different over the previous, lets say 48 hours here, a significant amount of Military Hardware moving into position. You know, in the early days, that very first night, less than 48 hours of hamas attack, we began to see tanks transported towards gaza. What were seeing this evening in Multial Places and we spent a lot of days within a few miles of the border with gaza is units, organized units of troops and Armored Personnel Carriers or, sort of, scout vehicles with big large jeeps with the sides rolled up. The soldiers have their weapons pointed out of the vehicles. They really look like very experienced combat soldiers. This movement that weve seen today, its organized. Its large, organized groups of troops that are moving on mass as a unit. Theyre bringing their supplies. You see the supplies packed up, and theyre all heading very close to the border with gaza. At one place we saw more than 20 tanks in one tight grouping. Again, just a few miles from the border. This is new. And its indicative of what is happening. Theres increased security down here. There is an increased presence that is not an incursion at the moment. Its securing and reinforcing the border. And i think the other take away is down in vehicles smashed on the side of the road where they were trying to stay safe, the scenes are the most brutal and chilling and cold blooded and calculated and callus and awful murder in cold blood. It really brings home to you the utter brutality that was wrought on those people. And you understand the fear, the concern in the families for those who are now missing, who were taken away, who hamas kidnapped and now have as hostages in gaza. I think these are the big take aways today, that and the amount of fire power thats being laid down on gaza and intensity of some of the barrages today that you could really see very clearly. You can see her and her two sons alive. Its clear she appears distressed here. Shes holding both of her sons in this video. What is still unclear tonight is when and where this video was taken and also where they are now. Yosi joins me now. Im so sorry for what you are going through and just this misery. Have you heard anything tonight about your Family Members . No. We have zero information about them. They disappeared saturday without knowing. So, the way that you learned that they had apparently been kidnapped was from seeing this video posted online. Imagine you wake up saturday morning and alarms going one after another. Its crazy thing. And then you start hearing things from the villages around gaza. Start looking and telegram to see any news they can get from there. And one of the photos that i opened was the children. One of them is four years old and is nine months old. So, you can understand how young they are. You can see in the movie, shes upset. She doesnt know anything. Theyre screaming in arabic. She doesnt understand and theyre pushing her from one side to the other. You can see there is a blood stain on the blanket. You can see the kidnappers are covered in blood. I dont know who it belongs to. We are, kind of, in a very unknown situation. I mean, shes just the fact that theyre four years old and just nine months. In the video, you dont see her husband. What is your fear that they have been separated here . 100 they have been separated. My hope is that they didnt separate them from the kids because we know that were not dealing with people. Were dealing with barbarians. Theyre not even animals. I cannot even call them animals. My aunt that we just saw in the picture, shes a very sick person. She needs life saving medicines. And she has a very high degree of parkinsons. Shes diabetic. She has blood issues. And she wont survive without her medicine. She has parkinsons. She has parkinsons, a very late stage. He is only nine months old. Without baby food, without diapers, without anything. And we know that the people that kidnapped them, theyre not people. Theyre barbarians. The only purpose we saw movies of people that had been kidnapped that had been molested, even kids. So, when you see all of these things and you know that theyre radical muslims and you know what theyre capable to do. Are you Still Holding out hope tonight . First of all, she and the kids are still together, i hope. Second hope is that theyre getting the right treatment and theyre getting the medicine that they need and that theyre in a safe place. Have you heard anything from the government or from the military or anyone about the Search Efforts . As you know, there is a very chaotic situation right now in israel. Were just starting to get manage with all these things and starting to get defense to attack. So, i believe its going to take a couple of days. Weve endured hardships, and i was a member of the Security Cabinet during a few operations. Weve never seen atrocities like this time. Look, it was a plan well designed and they planned it, like, months ago it happened, with or without the coordination of iran but definitely with the assistance and help and weapons and funds that they got from iran. And yes, we were surprised. But we swore that it will never happen again. Thats why you keep hearing the Prime Minister, the Minister Of Defense swearing that this time you know, hamas took power in gaza 17 years ago. Since then we tried maybe economic benefits, maybe the rehabilitation of the gaza strip. Never helped to change their ideology. Their charter said loud and clear, you should butcher every jew that you encounter. They want only the annihilation of the jewish state. Exactly, you know, thats the same ideology like i. S. I.
