Its more than just a statement of support the group also added this College Democrats votes are not to be taken for granted by the Democratic Party. Why did you think it was important though, to sign on to this statement and offer this support to these protests. Yes. I want to start off by saying, as you mentioned, cd cda has a commitment to getting biden reelected, but we also have a commitment to being a clear and strong voice for our peers. The facilitation of a lasting ceasefire, as well as denounced the rising antisemitism and islamophobia. Thats happening on campuses and cda has remained firm in our belief that all life is precious and that any violence that has, that has taken the lives of palestinian, israeli, or american lives is wrong.
