COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Schools can become a one-stop shop for some families, becoming a place parents can get the COVID shot when dropping off their kids.
The Coeur d’Alene School District and Panhandle Health District are trying to make it as easy as possible for students and families to get vaccinated. On Wednesday, some students at Lake City High School stopped by the school gym, not for P.E., but for a COVID vaccine.
That’s what senior Jacob Hutchinson did today.
“I’ve been planning on getting it for a while, but I couldn’t get in with my busy schedule,” Hutchinson said.
