Columbus schools, most other districts cancel classes or go remote as snowstorm moves in

Central Ohio was prepared to be walloped by a snowstorm Monday night headed into Tuesday, resulting in some snow days in the area.
Meteorologists expected 3-4 inches of accumulation as precipitation transitions to snow by about 10 p.m., said James Gibson, observing program leader at the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
Actual snowfall appeared to be less than an inch, but travel was still hazardous.
