Join us for a night of laughs at the Vernon Hills Park District. Chicago comedians are sure to get your funny bone at our outdoor Comedy Showcase. <br/><br/>Our Headliner, Tim Walkoe was the grand prize winner on ABC TV’s “America’s Funniest People. He has headlined at over 100 comedy clubs nationwide. He can be seen on HBO, Showtime, and A&E. He toured with Kenny Loggins, Whitney Houston, and Elvis Costello. <br/><br/>Dana Ehrmann is our featured comedian. She has opened for Todd Barry, Jackie Kashian, Dan Soder and Charlie Berens. John McCombs is our special guest comedian. He has performed up and down the East Coast and several headlining tours of Europe. He just released his first comedy special (Make a Way to Estonia). He performed at Zanies, The Laugh Factory and opened for Tim Meadows and Michelle Wolf. <br/><br/>Richard Laible is the emcee and producer of this event. He is an Alumnus of Chicago’s world famous “The Second City”. He performed at The Improvisations in NY & LA, Catch A Rising Star, and The Comedy Castle to name a few. He opened for Jay Leno, Harry Connick Jr., Nickelback, The Temptations, Peter Cetera, Chicago, Hank Williams III, and many more. <br/><br/>Doors open at 6 pm, the show begins at 7 pm. Must be 21+ years. Fee: $35 Beer and wine is available for purchase on site. Bring your own lawn chairs, folding chairs will be available for use.
