Jen Crouse, vice president of student affairs and executive director of the Sheridan College Foundation, gave the commencement address, sharing her story of the car accident that put her in a wheelchair, and almost ended her life, at age 16 and how she re-found her “inner fire.” Commencement speaker Jen Crouse. In an interview with Sheridan Media before the graduation ceremonies, Crouse said excitement over the in-person graduation was really, really high this year. Graduation ceremonies were canceled in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic and resultant shutdown of activities across the state and nation.
