“We donate interest and fund earnings every year to worthy local charities through an application process,” explained Rathgeber.
Since 2016 the Foundation’s asset base grew from $10,000.00 to $350,000, due to generous community support. The principal is professionally and conservatively managed by outside professional investment counsel.
The annual interest and earnings on the principal amount presently provided charitable grants totaling between $10,000 and $15,000 per year. However, application requests from worthy charities always exceed the ability to fund all requests in full.
