The search for diverse voices to add their insight on the formation of the Stratford Police Services Board’s community equity action team has been more difficult than anticipated.
Of the 12 in-depth interviews conducted by consulting firm Credence & Co. as part of the first phase in the development of a community equity action team meant to improve relations between local police and residents who are Black, Indigenous or People of Colour (BIPOC), only three were conducted with locals who represented the latter group.
