(AP) — A Connecticut woman accused of killing her 4-year-old son was ordered detained on $2 million bail Monday and placed under suicide and mental health watches. Tiffany Farrauto, 33, was arraigned via a video conference on charges of murder and risk of injury to a minor in New London Superior Court. New London police said Farrauto told officers who were responding to a report of her damaging a vehicle with a baseball bat on Sunday that she had strangled her son. Officers found the boy unresponsive in Farrauto's apartment and tried to revive him, but he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at a hospital.
