The UK government's anti-corruption watchdog has found that a former minister in Boris Johnson and David Cameron's governments broke the ministerial code by failing to declare his position with a PPE firm founded by a former government appointee.
George Freeman MP, who was a former Health Minister, failed to register with the watchdog before accepting work with a company seeking to sell protective equipment to the National Health Service during the coronavirus pandemic.
The company was founded by a former appointee of a government agency overseen by Freeman when he was a Health Minister.
