Cops seek witnesses in fatal Slate Belt pedestrian hit-and-run crash Updated Jan 31, 2021; Pennsylvania State Police are seeking witnesses in a fatal hit-and-run crash this past Friday in the Slate Belt. The crash happened at 10:44 p.m. in the 2300 block of North Delaware Drive (Route 611) in Upper Mount Bethel Township. Eileen Frances Muzlet, 57, of Easton suffered severe injuries following the crash and was taken by helicopter to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Salisbury Township, according to state police in Bethlehem. Muzlet was pronounced dead at 5:10 p.m. Saturday at the hospital, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office. An autopsy is scheduled Monday to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
