It is understood that they were connected with the Chieftain Hotel over the festive period and both NHS Highland and Highland Council are aware of the situation. An NHS Highland spokesman said: "NHS Highland is aware of a number of positive cases linked to the Chieftain Hotel in Inverness over the festive period. Contact tracing was carried out with all positive cases and identified close contacts advised to self-isolate. NHS Highland's Health Protection Team is working closely with The Highland Council's Environmental Health Department to provide advice and guidance."
