AN INTERACTIVE map shows which areas of the Borders have been worst affected by coronavirus in recent days. The Public Health Scotland tool shows the number of cases per 100,000 population, over a seven-day period. The Borders figures are broken down into 30 neighbourhoods. And it has been revealed that 'Hawick West End' has seen the highest rate of cases in the most recent seven-day period (January 13 – January 19). READ MORE: The area saw 20 cases recorded in the week – a rate of 606.2 per 100,000 population. That neighbourhood is the only one in the region to have had a rate of more than 400 cases. There are five communities which have a rate of between 200 to 399 cases.
