Nobles County reports no new positive tests for the novel coronavirus during 24-hour period. 11:19 am, Mar. 17, 2021 × REGIONAL — Cottonwood County recorded another six residents testing positive for COVID-19 during the 24-hour period that ended at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Meanwhile, Jackson County reported three new cases and Rock County, two. Murray, Nobles and Pipestone counties reported no new cases of the virus. Statewide, another 1,046 new probable and positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the single day. The cumulative total of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases now stands at 499,962 (positive and antigen tests), with 484,819 beyond the 10-day isolation period. Thus far, 38,554 Minnesota health care workers have contracted the virus.
