Wrexham Council Chief Executive Ian Bancroft was speaking to Wrexhan.com about ‘projects ready for funding’ in the county borough, citing the Wrexham Gateway project around the Mold Road / football stadium area, town centre regeneration projects, the A483 junction improvements and the local World Heritage Site. Mr Bancroft said: “They are all significant pieces of capital investment that are critical to Wrexham’s future. It is the right time for these projects, and they are ready for allocations of capital funding by national government.
