Lois Morris and Charles Morris went to CVS Pharmacy on Nov. 20, 2017, to get flu vaccinations and Lois Morris received her shot from Kathy Gibbs, a pharmacist, who then immediately directed her to go to the counter and fill out paperwork, according to a complaint filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia. When Lois Morris stood up, she fainted and fell, hitting her head on the counter and then on the floor, according to the suit. Charles Morris witnessed his wife fall and strike her head and she was transported to Camden Clark Hospital because she was unconscious and non-responsive.
