Article content There is little doubt Ottawa is now battling a fresh wave of COVID-19 infection, with another 198 new cases reported Sunday — down from Saturday’s record total, but still among the highest daily counts in the year-long pandemic. Ottawa Public Health reports there are now 1,641 active cases of the coronavirus, though no new deaths were reported, leaving the total number of fatalities at 467.
