Covid-19: Perth traveller has not been charged for breaching rules amid trans-Tasman flight pause

On Wednesday, a Ministry of Health spokesperson confirmed to
Stuff that no charges had been laid against the Perth traveller.
The matter had not been referred to police, a police spokesperson confirmed on Wednesday night.
At a 1pm press conference on Wednesday, Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield said there had been another more recent case of a trans-Tasman bubble breach.
Bloomfield told media these were “disappointing actions” from the people concerned, but they were identified on arrival and taken to a quarantine facility.
These three people have returned negative day zero test results, and their day 3 test results were also expected to return on Wednesday.
