MACOMB — Due to expected poor weather conditions, the Illinois Department of Public Health has cancelled today's coronavirus testing at Tanner Hall Circle on the Western Illinois University campus.
The McDonough County Health Department has announced eight new positive coronavirus cases since Monday, involving four women and four men. Their ages are listed as two children under 10, two people in their teens, one person in the 20s, two people in their 40s, and one person in the 60s.
These new cases bring the county's confirmed case total to 2,268, with 32 cases still active, 2,186 people recovered, and 50 deaths. Total cases involve 1,203 women and 1,065 men. The largest age group impacted is 658 people in their 20s.
