COVID-19 vaccination still slowing down in Vanderburgh, but kids 12-15 now eligible View Comments EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Thursday brought more evidence of Vanderburgh County's COVID-19 vaccination slowdown, with the county's seven-day average of total daily doses sinking again. The number, which the Indiana State Department of Health defines as "the moving average (6 previous days and 1 current day) of all doses administered," was 724 as of Monday. Tuesday's adjusted figure came in at 605 on ISDH's COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard. And Wednesday's number — the one released Thursday — was 546. The steep decline in the average, which reached 1,548 as recently as April 12, illustrates what has become a month-long slowdown of vaccinations in Vanderburgh County.
