Dave Douglas from Westmoreland County holding off for now on getting the Covid 19 vaccine. Really, it's personal choice of what you should do. Tuesday pennsylvania announced a major change to its covid 19 plan. The state's mass mandate can be lifted once 70% of pennsylvania adults are vaccinated. We asked Douglas and others if this will persuade those expressing vaccine. Hesitancy to roll up their sleeve. I think that the people have got their vaccines already are the ones that are going to get the vaccine. The ones that haven't uh like I said, it's their choice. It's their choice. I mean, I don't care what they do. The number of fully vaccinated residents in Westmoreland county, more than 109,000. That's 30%. A vaccination milestone reached on Tuesday, according to County Commissioner Gina Cirelli thrasher, The percentage of fully vaccinated adults in Westmoreland County is higher. In a statement, she says, quote, hopefully we can have 70 of the population vaccinated by summer to no longer have to wear masks. Paul Tao says he's fully vaccinated and hopes the state's announcement pushes people to get the shot. I hate to see us in a position where um where we're not regarding this is important.
