COVID-19 vaccine: High-risk health care workers in Hamilton

 
Health care workers who are considered “high-risk” in Hamilton are now eligible to get their second dose of the COVID-19 sooner than 16-weeks after their first.
It was announced Tuesday (May 18) that eligible individuals will receive a notification via text message or email with their new appointment date. Those who do not receive a notification by the end-of-day Thursday (May 20) can call the Hamilton Public Health Services COVID-19 Hotline at 905-974-9848, option 7.
High-risk healthcare workers eligible for shortened second-dose intervals
All hospital and acute care staff in frontline roles with COVID-19 patients and/or with a high risk of exposure to COVID-19, including nurses and personal support workers and those performing aerosol-generating procedures:
