This week, some Utah prisoners will get their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, as well as some of the homeless population in Salt Lake City.

This is as many Utahns 70-years-old and older have been told they will have to wait for their appointments.
"I was on the computer every single night for maybe a week and a half, trying to get a slot,” said Allison Downs, a Lehi resident.
Downs said her grandma in Utah County isn't fast on the computer, so she's been the one racing to claim her a spot.
