COVID: Cases continue to fall, 32% of county vaccinated ROSS COUNTY - Coronavirus cases continue to fall in Ross County as vaccination numbers go up. Ross County has reported 6,716 total cases of COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020. There have been 543 people who have been hospitalized. As of April 20, Ross County has reported 239 total cases of COVID-19 in April, so far the lowest number of cases Ross County has reported since September 2020. A total of 34 have been hospitalized this month, however, still higher than February's 25. The RCHD reports that 50 people were hospitalized in March, which Ross County Health Commissioner Garrett Guillozet previously attributed to new viral strains.
