Sheriff Gregory Rudolph said 11 staff and two prisoners have tested positive for COVID. The staff is isolated at home and the two inmates have been isolated in jail, Rudolph said Thursday in a news release. He said in all cases, those with COVID have had mild to moderate symptoms. All visits were suspended Monday. âThe Sheriffâs Office has contracted with the Wyoming County Health Department for medical services in the Jail for years, so we are fortunate to have such a valuable resource on site to guide us through this surge,â Rudolph said. âThe Officers are doing an incredible and diligent job maintaining the essential operations during this staffing hardship and challenging time.
