ANOTHER 75,000 coronavirus vaccines have been administered across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight in the last week. A total of 303,203 jabs have been given across the counties, making it the fifth highest region for vaccine delivery nationally. This includes 92.7 per cent of all over 80s being given their first dose - one of the highest rates nationally. Additionally, just over 86 per cent of people aged 75-79 have received the first dose of either the Pfizer/BioNTech or Oxford/Astra Zeneca jabs, with a little under 20 per cent of those aged between the ages of 70 and 74. The data relates to the period to January 31, 2021.
