Dalassa Rittia Diane Pau was placed in a room at the Cairns Pacific International hotel in northern Queensland on Friday after she returned from a trip to Covid-addled Sydney. Police noticed she was missing on Monday afternoon, and later found her at her mother's apartment. The 22-year-old appeared in Cairns Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning and pleaded guilty to fail to comply with Covid-19 public health direction, unregulated high risk activities and wilful damage.
