Well not exactly, but it was a winning idea for the 5th grade quartet of Kayla Lempke, Ava Silcox, Trey Hines, and Ellie Wolf as they took 1st place in the Georgia Council on Economic Education’s South Metro Econ Games. The Econ Games is a competitive event for 4th and 5th grade students where they apply their knowledge of economics and personal finance to develop a sales pitch/business plan for a new good or service they “invented.”
