Premium Content Subscriber only A young man remains in a Brisbane hospital after he was critically injured in a horror head-on collision on the Coast as police piece together what caused the crash. Emergency services were called to the Mooloolah Connection Road just before Steve Irwin Way at Glenview about 6.35am on Tuesday. A black Ford Falcon ute and red Nissan Patrol ute collided on the hinterland road which led to firefighters using the jaws of life to cut free two of the passengers. The driver of the black ute, a 24-year-old Kensington Grove man, suffered a serious head injury and was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.
