Pensacola News Journal/USA TODAY NETWORK A Crestview man was struck and killed Monday night after he was hit by a vehicle while standing outside of his crashed vehicle. The 22-year-old man was traveling east on Interstate 10 in the area of mile marker 19 in Santa Rosa County at 9:21 p.m., according to a Florida Highway Patrol report. He failed to negotiate the curve and collided with the interior concrete divider. His vehicle then re-entered the inside lane of Interstate 10. He exited the vehicle and began walking around it. A sedan driven by a 30-year-old El Dorado, Arkansas, woman who was traveling on I-10 was unable to avoid his vehicle and collided with the man, who was standing outside of it. Her vehicle then collided with the right-side door area of his vehicle.
