Ive gotten to know him over the last several years. Hes a husband, a father, a man f integrity and faith, who led a successful left a successful business to become North Carolinas lieu te nant governor who made the values of this great state. Trump inyes to donald 2016 looking at this crowd in 2016. Looking at this crowd, i know moreill say yes to four years of donald trump. Think about it. Inherited ago, we military hollowed out by budget cuts, an economy struggling to break out of the slowest recovery since the great depression. Rise, and wethe witnessed a steady assault on our most chairs values. Values. Cherished but in three years, we revived our economy, secured our border, supported Law Enforcement, stood for life, liberty, and the constitution of the United States. [cheers and applause] economy, on the , after, i can tell you joe biden spent the previous eight years trying to tax, spend, and regulate us back to a growing economy, President Trump created the greatest economy in American History, and we are doing yet again. [cheers and applause] i mean, i dont know if you saw gdpbut how about those new numbers that came out this week . [cheers and applause] American Economy grew by more than 33 in the third quarter. It shattered any previous record by far. The Great American comeback is on. More years of President Donald Trump in the white house, we will bring this economy back bigger and better than before. The next year will be our best year ever. [cheers and applause] you know, this Great American comeback, i think the president would be the first to say, is a testament to the character, resilience, and strength of the american people. It is also a tribute to a president and to our allies in the congress who work to create the greatest economy the world has ever known. Weis amazing to think, as stand here today three days before an election, that joe biden actually wants to raise in they 4 trillion midst of a global pandemic. He has a 2 trillion version of the Green New Deal. And he wants to put a public option in the middle of obamacare and reimpose the taxes of obamacare on the american people. Contrast, wemp by cut taxes across the board for working families and businesses. We rolled back more federal regulation than any administration in history. We fought for free and fair trade, unleased American Energy, and in three short years, businesses created 7 million good paying jobs, including 250,000 jobs in the tar heel state. Years,e first three North Carolina saw its the lowestt rate since the Great Recession and the highest ownership ever. In a state where manufacturing is so important, i always feel right at home in North Carolina, because it reminds me of the Hoosier State where i am from. Where i come from, we do Different Things well, we make and grow things. When joe biden was Vice President , america lost 200,000 manufacturing jobs. ,nd, the last president remember the last president . Jobsid those manufacturing that they lost were never coming back. , what magicasked wand do you have . We did not need a magic wand. We just needed President Donald Trump in the white house. 500,000 manufacturing jobs created in just three years, including 13,000 right here in North Carolina. Manufacturing is back. I am telling you. To trade is so important what we make and what we grow. But you also deserve to know that when we took office, half of our International Trade deficit was with one country, communist china. Joe biden has been a cheerleader for communist china all along the way. China on trump put notice. He said the era of economic surrender is over. Andmposed tariffs on china we will keep Standing Firm until they open their markets to what we make and grow, and respect the private Property Rights of americans. [crowd chanting usa] v. P. Saw fromome from, we the 25 years that nafta was signed into law thousands of factories shuttered and jobs move south of the border. For years after we won the election, i went back to indiana and heard that a company that had been in indiana for 75 years was shutting there the and moving south. Like tos like joe biden spend a lot of time complaining about nafta, saying how bad it was, but they never lifted a finger to do anything about it. But when the man who wrote the art of the deal got to the oval office, North Carolina and america got a way better deal. Usmca is ane and the huge win for North Carolina and america. Estimates thatre we will sell another 2 billion dollars more in agricultural goods to mexico and canada alone. And not just joe bidens record of not doing nothing, right . But you also should know about his running mate. I had a debate with Kamala Harris in Salt Lake City a couple of weeks back. [applause] thank you. Is quite a night. But i tried to point out then was one of harris only 10 senators to vote against the usmca. I mean, here is a trade deal that puts our manufacturers first and puts our agriculture first, eight huge win for North Carolina. Kamala harris voted against it because she said it did not go far enough on climate change. Put her radical environmental agenda ahead of North Carolina jobs and North Carolina farmers. I promise you that President Donald Trump and i will always put North Carolina work and North Carolina farmers first. [cheers and applause] energy, and on energy, joe biden and Kamala Harris spent the whole last year talking about how they want to ban fracking and abolish fossil fuels. They started to say different now. President is in pennsylvania today, so they have been going to pennsylvania and saying they are not, and this and that. I mean, and then in the president ial debate last week, how will that the president do in the president ial debate, everybody . Wasnt that great . How good was that . In the president ial debate, if you watched it all the way to the end, they get to talking about energy and joe biden says we need to transition from the oil industry. The president said, that is a big statement. Beenruth is that they have talking about abolishing fossil fuels and banding fracking and whatever they are saying now. President donald trump has been a champion for American Energy from day one, and we are now a net exporter of energy for the first time in 70 years. [cheers and applause] what a choice. You know, men and women of North Carolina, i really think the choice we face this tuesday is a choice between a trump boom and a biden depression. There was a recent study, nonpartisan study that said joe bidens economic policies, for 4 trillion dollar tax 2 trillion trillio dollar Green New Deal, new taxes backing obamacare with their socialized medicine that will cost americans live million jobs and reduce your Household Income by 6,500 a year. [booing] leave here today, every hour between now and when the polls close in North Carolina, you run into somebody who has not made a decision yet. I got one question for you to i ranm, just one, say into mike. [cheers and applause] and, he said if i could ask you one question this is what i would ask you. Look them in the eye and say, as americans are starting to move our country forward, who do you really think can bring the American Economy all the way back and then some in 2021 . A career politician who spent 47 years in washington, d. C. , raising taxes, growing government, stifling our economy under regulation and economic surrender on trade, or a proven job creator who is driving the greatest economic recovery in American History . It is true. When we took office, i heard that there was about one third of the aircraft in our air force kept on the ground to be used as spare parts to keep other there back in the air. Democrats in washington are already talking this week about massive cuts in defense spending to fund their Big Government programs. [booing] i am proud to report to you come and not just as youre Vice President , but as the proud father of a United States marine [cheers and applause] and i have a soninlaw that is a navy pilot, currently deployed. Ider President Donald Trump, can tell you that we have seen the largest investment in our National Defense since the days of ronald reagan. We are finally getting our soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, and coast guard the support that they need to defend this nation. And with that renewed american strength, we have stood with our allies and stood up to our enemies. Knowing of our allies, you four president s in ebro made a promise to our most cherished ally, but it was donald trump who kept his word and moved the American Embassy to jerusalem, the capital of the state of israel. We stood with our allies come up american strength, and last year , our armed forces captured the last inch of territory under the black flag of the isis caliphate. They took out their leader without one american casualty, and the iranian general responsible for the death of hundreds of our Service Members is gone. [cheers and applause] and i dont know if you heard about it, the news broke on your way here, last night, u. S. Navy seals rescued an american taken oftive in niger a couple days ago. That u. S. Citizen is safe and no military personnel were injured in the operation. [cheers and applause] the armed of United States of america are the greatest force for good in the history of the world. [cheers and applause] [crowd chanting usa] so we stood with those who serve and their families. We have also stood strong with all of you who have worn the uniform of the United States. Expect great crowd, i there are a lot of men and women who have served in our armed forces. Just raise your hand in the air. We literally had veterans who were dying, waiting to receive the care at v. A. Hospitals that they earned in the uniform of the United States. Under President Donald Trump, those days are over. We signed the most sweeping reform of the v. A. In 50 years. We fired 3000 employees that were not giving veterans the care that they earned, and veterans choice is now available for every veteran in america. And when it comes to law and be more proud not to serve alongside a president who has stood every day with the men and women who serve on the blue line of Law Enforcement, and we always will. [cheers and applause] you know, when i was growing up in a small town in indiana, we used to drive up to chicago, where my parents were from, over the holidays. We would go to my grandparents home, me and my three brothers would stand in the living room was my uncle would come out dressed for work, wearing the uniform of the Chicago Police department, that blue uniform, badge, and sidearm, and me and my three we. Thers would look up in al all of my heroes wear uniforms. [cheers and applause] menow what you know, the and women in lawenforcement are some of the best people in this country and they deserve the respect of every american every day. For our lawit enforcement that art with us today. Can you show them how much you appreciate all that they do to protect and serve our families . [cheers and applause] are going to back the blue. In part,explained it, by saying they believe that Law Enforcement officers of every a implicit bias against minorities. When joe biden was as if he would support cutting funding for Law Enforcement, he said yes, absolutely. Kamala harris recently praised the mayor of los angeles for out of the0 million lapds budget. [booing] let me make you a promise, with four more years of President Donald Trump in the white house, we will not defund the police, not now, not ever. We are going to back the blue for four more years. Know, you all know, we dont have to choose between supporting blood enforcement in our africanamerican neighbors, or minorities or families who live in our major cities, we have done both for the past four years, and will continue to do both. We funded 4000 new Police Officers on the street. When violence broke out this summer, we launched operation legend, which has seen the arrest of 2500 violent offenders across america. At the same time, during those first three years, we have the lowest unemployment ever recorded for africanamericans. Weve fought for educational choice for families across this nation. We passed criminal Justice Reform and created 8000 opportunity zones, bringing jobs and opportunities to our major cities. We are going to support Law Enforcement, support our african community, and we are going to do it for four more years. [cheers and appl
