Top Story May 12, 2021 ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said a decision to reinvestigate the Hudaibyia Paper Mills case was made in the light of emergence of new evidence. He said the judge who had decided to close the case in 2014, also owned assets abroad, according to the Panama disclosures. The minister said Hudaibyia was a story of fraud of about Rs1,242 million, which was bigger than the Panama papers case in terms of volume, and it started in 2000. The minister took to his official Twitter account to explain how did he see the case and how it went through various phases.
