The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection on Monday identified him as 26-year-old Brian Saucier. Personnel from DEEP and several area fire department started searching Long Meadow Pond on Saturday after a report of an overturned kayak. Officials suspended the search around 9 p.m. Saturday. Rescue operations resumed Sunday morning. Fire crews recovered Saucier’s body around 10 a.m. Sunday.
