Delphos man killed Sunday night in Van Wert County crash MIDDLE POINT — A Delphos man was killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle traffic accident near Middle Point in Van Wert County. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the accident took place at approximately 9:48 p.m. when a semi tractor-trailer operated by Glen Anderson, 66, of Rochester, Indiana, was traveling eastbound on U.S. 30 and struck a disabled vehicle owned by Jeffrey Brown, 44, of Delphos. Brown’s vehicle was parked along the right berm of the highway, and Brown was attempting to make repairs when Anderson’s semi traveled outside its lane and onto the berm, striking the left side of Brown’s vehicle and Brown himself, the patrol report stated. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene by a representative of the Van Wert County Coroner’s Office.
