Mar 17, 2021 First Responders (Tallahassee, FL) -- Florida's governor wants to reward first responders for what has been a trying year. Governor Ron DeSantis announced yesterday that first responders will each get one thousand dollars. It'll amount to over 208 million dollars, and it's part of over four billion dollars worth of projects DeSantis announced as part of the federal COVID relief bill.
