The South Attleboro commuter rail station is closed until further notice due to structural concerns.
PROVIDENCE, RI — With commuter rail service suspended to the South Attleboro train station until further notice, Rhode Islanders still have options via the state's public transit authority.
According to the MBTA, the South Attleboro station is closed until further notice "due to concerns about deteriorating structural conditions on the pedestrian overpass." The station was the first stop over the Massachusetts border on the Providence/Stoughton line, which connects Rhode Island to Boston.
