they have been slogging through areas that are very slow-paced. today they made it only a few hundred yards. so with all of those obstacles and the rules of engagement which say, even if a taliban fighter is in one of the buildings if they believe a civilian is inside, they are not supposed to fire. with the 12 civilians killed by american rockets over the weekend, that could make them even more cautious going forward. >> some are making comparisons to the alanbar province in iraq. you were there in 2004. i was there in 2005. i remember what was happening in fallujah as the u.s. was trying to clear out the situation. is this similar? >> good question. a lot of officers say they learned a lot from fallujah and that they don't want this to end up another fallujah. if you take a look, what we are seeing here -- let's see -- here
