was a critical repair because without that second cooling loop, very little research work or other things could have been done. basically they would have been in a survival mode. although conceptually simple, this e.v.a., disconnect the lines, take the old purchase out, put the new pump in. sounds easy to do. but when you're in a space suit wrestling with the ammonia fluid lines which are pressurized and trying to get them on and off with the sticky disconnected because they've been up there so long ekt connected, no surprise to me that it became such a challenge. but these folks pulled it off. >> if you were up there -- these are astronauts. they're walking around in space. what would be going through their minds as they did this? is this kind of par for the course if you're stationed up there on the international space station that some things are going to go wrong, that's why
