the miners' first contact with a human being from the outside world, first direct contact in two months. want to bring in gary tuchman. so many amazing moments as this rescue unfolded and as you covered it. what really stands out for you? >> what stands out for me, anderson, is when the first miner, florencio avalos made it to the top, and the reason that it was so significant is we weren't 100% sure that this would be successful. it was very nerf-wracking, and once we knew that the capsule started moving and watching the wheel turn to the clockwise position which meant it was coming up and watched the rope getting pulled up. we knew it would take 15 to 17 minutes for florencio to make it to the top, seemed like an hour and 15 minutes, two hours and 15 minutes and finally when we saw the top of the capsule come above the hole and saw this man in the cage, it was just amazing because not only did we know that this man was safe and that
