chernobyl. can you give me some comparative as to where we are right now if nothing worse happens, the radiation levels stay where they are and go down? how is this as a comparative to other things that have happened? >> clearly it's not a chernobyl. that spewed radiation over ten to 12 days and the radiation effect was over 1200 miles. as a matter of fact the cleanup is still going on today at chernobyl. we haven't had that kind of explosion. the explosions that they have, have been hydrogen explosions and did not involve the fuel itself. that doesn't mean we don't have problems. the fuel fire you saw at reactor four in the spent fuel pond that has created significant radiation but it's really nothing on the scale of chernobyl. we'll still have to cool these sites down for months.
