>> yeah. >> this is one of the opportunities for you to get out there and do a longer ride. how was that for you first of all? >> before i got here i was really concerned that i wouldn't be able to bike the distance because most of my training is indoors on a trainer. when i got here i was able to push 11 and 12 miles so i'm proud of myself. miles so i'm definitely proud of myself. >> that's really important. people say as a lot of people are watching you guys train, i could never do that. but you could go out and do 11 or 12 miles. you did have a fall. what happened? >> i was on the bike and kind of lost control of the bike and went into the gravel. once i got into the gravel i kept going closer to the lava fields. i just flew off the field and hit a lava rock chin-first. i luckily went to the doctor yesterday, nothing's broken, just a few stitches. back at it again today. >> they say you're not a triathlete until you have an accident like this. >> right. i have the scars to prove it. >> we'll keep an eye on it but
