we have already seen come down. that's the short term problem. that goes to show you okay, this is where flash flooding concerns begin. we also have to look at long term concerns. since this is going to take its time moving out, that water has to go somewhere. as it comes into the ocean, it goes in through the bays and inlets and ends up in rivers. all the rain that came down also ends up in the rivers. you have about 20 rivers with potential to reach major flood stage and 29, nearly 30 of them reaching moderate flood stage. the thing to note here, too, a lot of this isn't going to crest for another 3 to 5 days. even when rain above you finally stops, you have long term concern of rivers. that problem won't go away for at least a week. >> that's a major concern in south carolina, concern in north carolina what we are hearing from local officials as well. allison, thank you. continuing coverage of this developing story, we will have
