nch welcome back, democratic presidential candidate and mayor pete buttigieg has been marching for peace today in his hometown of south bend, indiana, where racial tensions are flairing. earlier this month, a white police officer shot and killed eric logan, an african-american man, during an investigation of car break-ins. the officer claims logan was wielding a knife, but the officer's body cam was turned off. at the recent democratic debate, buttigieg acknowledged that he, quote, couldn't get it done when it comes to his efforts to diversify the police force there. last night cnn's don lemon asked him what he meant by that. >> i was asked about the diversity of the south bend police force. it's an example of an issue that we're wrestling with in south bend and that a lot of cities are seeing. there is a gap in many diverse communities between the
